Escape is played in real-time, with all players rolling dice and taking actions simultaneously. You must roll the right symbols to enter a room, and if you’re at an open doorway, you can roll to reveal the next tile in the stack and add it to that doorway. Some rooms contain combinations of red and blue symbols, and if you (possibly working with other players in the same room) roll enough red or blue symbols, you “discover” magic gems, moving them from a separate gem depot onto that tile.

The real-time aspect is enforced by a soundtrack to be played during the game. At certain points, a countdown starts, and if players aren’t back in the safe room when time is up, they lose one of their dice.

Once the exit tile is revealed, players can attempt to escape the temple by moving to that tile, then rolling a number of blue dice equal to the magic gems that haven’t been removed from the gem depot. Thus, the more gems you find, the easier it is to escape the temple. When a player escapes, he gives one die to a player of his choice. If all players escape before the third countdown, everyone wins; if not, everyone loses, no matter how many players did escape.

In many ways “Dungeon!” is similar to Dungeons & Dragons, although much simplified and transformed into a board game. Players explore a dungeon that is divided into levels of increasing difficulty, fighting monsters for valuable treasure. As players venture deeper into the dungeon, the monsters become more difficult and the treasure more valuable. Several character classes each have slightly different fighting abilities – most notably the wizard, who can cast spells. Combat is simulated using dice; players roll the dice to attack a monster, and if unsuccessful, the dice are rolled to determine the effect of the monster’s counter-attack.

In Dungeon Academy, each player has a piece of paper that shows four dungeons, with each dungeon being a 4×4 grid. The game lasts four rounds, and in each round you will go through one of these dungeons. Each player also has a character card that shows some amount of life (red) and mana (blue) along with a special power.

What’s actually in a dungeon is determined by dice that you roll at the start of the round. You roll sixteen dice, then let them settle in a 4×4 grid. The dice show red and blue monsters in both small and large sizes, as well as blue potions and red strength. You decide where to enter the dice dungeon and which dice to pass through in a continuous line that can change directions only orthogonally, and you draw this corresponding line on your personal grid until you exit at some other point of the dungeon without crossing over your line. You then claim the lowest available number card, with the number of cards matching the number of players.

Dodos Riding Dinos

Advance with blue or red cards and solve their whacky effects. Some will test your dexterity against your rivals by throwing bananas, flicking dodo eggs or making meteors fall.

Red cards are extra powerful but if too many players pick them during the same round, their effects will be ignored. Green cards allow the Dodo to react at any time.

Damage your rivals so they discard cards, with no cards in hand their Dodos will retrocede as a penalty and draw some cards.

At the end of each round, the Dodo in the lead advances an extra space while the rest gets to draw a card.

The fastest Dodo and Dino will be saved from extinction!

Cock & Bull

A fast paced 2-player dice game with cocks, bulls and monkeys on the faces of the dice. Players try to place six 2-sided chips on a wooden game board that has an antique feel. When you roll pairs of monkeys, cocks or bulls, you place down or flip over a chip in the appropriate spot on the board. Strategy comes in when you roll a cock & bull, you can either score one point on the pegboard, or remove one of your opponents chips. Bonus points are scored on the pegboard after you capture an area on the board with chips. When you roll 1 monkey your turn is over. There are two ways to win, either get all six chips on the game board, or move your wooden peg from start to finish.
