Zombie World

It’s happened.

It’s finally happened.

You’ve watched countless friends, loved ones, strangers, men, women, and children succumb to the ever-growing horde. You have your scars, just like everyone else does. You count yourself lucky to have made it this far, and have found this enclave that you now call home. But something’s amiss, something just don’t feel right. It’s in the air, running through the ground, electrifying every bite of food you take, shocking every look you exchange with the other survivors.

It’s not easy, living through a zombie apocalypse. Everyone knows that.

But you have the feeling that things are about to get a whole lot worse.

Welcome to Zombie World, a card-based role playing game where you and the other players find yourself in the midst of a zombie apocalypses. You’ll have to fight to survive each day, whether that’s against zombies, the ever-diminishing food supply, or each other. Play will be conducted through cards that you draw and collective ideas as players talk to one another. First you’ll set up your Enclave, your current home and sanctuary. Then, players will create characters, receiving a past and trauma card (who you were and how you’ve dealt with all the horrible events that you’ve witnessed), and get to choose a present card (what your current role is). After receiving allies, you’re ready to play!

This is part of our October Horror Game Event, a month-long event where every Thursday night, starting at 6:30 PM, a new game will be played. Other games include Ten Candles, Werewolf, and Dread, check our website to see more!

This event is at Off The Shelf Games and there is a $5.00 entrance fee for non-members to the store.
