Sunday Meetup – Newton

In Newton, the players take the role of a young scientist who wants to become one of the great geniuses of this era. To reach their ultimate goal, they travel around Europe, visit universities and cities, study to discover new theories, build new tools and work to earn money.

If you have not played this game before, I highly recommend taking the time to watch a playthrough. Seeing the game played is one of the best ways to understand how the mechanics work together. Alternatively, you can watch the instructional video or read the rule book to learn how the games are played. I can answer questions but do not recommend waiting till after the event starts to learn how to play.

This event is being hosted in coordination with Josh’s open gaming event on the San Diego Boardgames Group. If you would prefer to play a different game please join Josh’s event. If this event is full and you want priority for openings in this game, please join the waiting list. Walk-in’s or attendees of Josh’s event are welcome to any unreserved seats day of. If you would prefer to observe a game you are welcome to do so, but please do not RSVP.

This event is at Off The Shelf Games and there is a $5.00 entrance fee for non-members to the store.
